Office Design, Moqhaus Sdn Bhd (Diploma in Interior Design) Semester 02

THE CONCEPTUAL BOARD

First of all, thank you for my lecturers Mr Haris Hambali and Madam Norashikin for the briefings and teachings. This is my result for my office and i chose Moqhaus Sdn Bhd as my client. I personally went to the company myself for case studies located at Pelangi Damansara, Selangor. So this is my first progress according to the brief before i go for my design progresses which is to create the Concept. It took a few brainwashes to get the name and finally i came out with the name Modern Elegant. Simple and plain. I made a few explanations there why i chose Modern Elegant and i found it related to my client style. So as you can see my images there for refferrence and i thought it quite good as help for my design schemes, and colors related to the company which is Monochrome color families and Red.

THE IMAGE BOARD
Here is my Image Board according to the requirement given. Those are some images of my research about my concept to be applied to my office design. A Color Family of Monochrome is my main choice added with Crimson Red adapted by the Client Logo

THE CLIENT BOARD 1
Here as you can see my Client Board with the Company Logo, Philosophy, E-mail Address, Organization Chart, Experiences and The Company Principal Profile. I acquired everything from their portfolio, done some reviews, and interviews on how their signature designs are, and the usual ideas to make people know that it's their design there.

THE CLIENT BOARD 2
The company did many projects so i also acquired more pictures of it and paste it in my second Client Board.

SITE ANALYSIS BOARD 1
The site is located at Bandar Universiti, Sri Iskandar, Perak. Here are my site analysis review which i have compressed it to my Site Analysis Board 1. Details of specifications are also there.

SITE ANALYSIS BOARD 2
Here is my second Site Analysis Board. I explained again about the Equipments and Architectural Constructions there. As you can see, i also explained the Sun Orientation too.

THE LAYOUT PLAN
The first requirement for presentation drawing was Layout Plan. Me and my classmates we're briefed to do it on Scale 1:50. Took a few critics from my lecturers and there are a few changes have been made. There as you can see the space requirements, the Reception, Principal's Room, Meeting Room, Assistant's Room, Junior Designer's Office Area,  Draughtsman's Office Area, Reference Area, Pantry, and the last additional area is Praying Area since the firm worker majority are Muslims.

THE REFLECTED CEILING PLAN
From the moment i see this Reflected Ceiling Plan after a few semesters passed, i noticed that at this moment, i need more improvement. So the ceiling plan arrangement was created by me with lecturer's aid.

THE SECTION A-A'
Another of my Presentation Drawing requirements here which is the Section Drawings and here is the first section, Section A-A'. I used the Butter Paper to draw on so i can easily made some effects while rendering like the mirror effects and shadows. The rendered from the back of the paper using Prismacolor so the fading glass effect can be created in the drawing.

THE SECTION B-B'
This is my second Section Drawing. Section B-B'. Here i showed the Facade Design there apart with the first section and the Meeting Room there at the center of the section.

ADDITIONAL SECTIONS (C-C', D-D', E-E')
Since i got more additional times before the submission, i extended 3 more section drawings just for extras. Section C-C', Section D-D', and Section E-E'

VIEW AT MEETING ROOM
The Lecturers briefed us to do two (2) perspectives and here's one of my result. Perspective View At Meeting Room. I used my usual mixed media which is the Prismacolor, Pencil Colors, special White Pencil Color and Pen, Pastels, and Lacquer. I applied the same technique that i used on my section drawing which is mirror effect rendered from behind of my butter paper.

VIEW AT FACADE/ENTRANCE
Here's my second perspective result.
